Problem Statement

University students frequently face high levels of stress and often lack access to effective, integrated mental health management tools. Calmo aims to fill this gap by offering a customized app experience that combines mindfulness practices, educational content, and community support. This helps students boost focus, manage stress, and improve their overall well-being, both academically and personally.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Calmo- Mental Health App for University Students

Calmo is a wellness app designed to help users manage their mental and emotional health. It offers practical tools like guided meditation, mood tracking, journaling, relaxing music, educational articles, and virtual counseling sessions.

By using Calmo, users can create a routine that supports their mental well-being and find resources to improve their overall quality of life.

The personas represent young university students in the UAE, each incorporating coping strategies and technology to support their well-being. Leila focuses on advocating for mental health, Kai uses technology for personal growth, and Sara prioritizes wellness through physical activity. Despite their shared drive for academic success, they all encounter challenges in accessing resources and rely on digital tools to improve their mental health and productivity.
